Fitznells Concert Band

For more than 30 years, the Fitznells Concert Band has provided a musical outlet,
performance opportunities and community for musicians in the Epsom and Ewell
area. As one of the performance arms of Fitznells Music Centre, the band offers
something for everyone and has a repertoire which ranges from classics such as
Handel and Mozart to sea shanties and iconic film scores like The Sound Of Music
and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Today, the Fitznells Concert Band combines established and long-term members,
with decades of playing experience, with talented, young musicians, operating under the direction of Conductor Andrew Wilson.

The Fitznell’s Concert Band is a friendly band for players of woodwind and brass instruments. We play a variety of music; classical, pop, film score, musical score, jazz, a wide variety. We give a couple of public performances each year, usually just before Christmas and then in the Summer, and members have asked us to perform for charities they have been involved with.

Maybe you are learning an instrument, or perhaps you played an instrument in your earlier years, in which case we would like to hear from you. If you are a little rusty, you will be surprised how quickly you will get back into it. The music is all round about grade 4-5 in standard, and most importantly we all have fun playing together and making music.
